Lesson 11: 4.10: Multi-Timeframe Analysis & Confluence Modeling
Learn to align macro trends with micro entries, building high-probability setups using multiple signals.
1. The Power of Confluence
Trading in isolation is a high-risk approach. Multi-timeframe analysis involves identifying the macro trend on a higher timeframe (e.g., Daily or 4-Hour) and finding high-precision entries on lower timeframes (e.g., 15-Minute).
Confluence modeling is the practice of combining independent technical signals to increase probability. For example, a trade has confluence if an entry price aligns with a horizontal support zone, a Fibonacci 61.8% level, AND an oversold RSI.
★ Confluence Axiom: The more independent signals that align at a single price, the higher the probability of trade success.
