Module 9: Market StructureAdvanced 20 Min

Lesson 9: 9.8: Putting It Together: The Market Structure Blueprint

Synthesize BOS, CHoCH, Liquidity, and FVGs into a unified, professional trading playbook.

1. Constructing the Structural Narrative

Trading market structure requires synthesizing these individual components into a cohesive narrative. You must build a step-by-step top-down analysis to filter noise and locate highest-probability trade locations.

We do this by identifying the higher timeframe bias, mapping the current active trading range, locating liquidity targets, and executing when lower timeframe alignment is confirmed.

2. The Institutional Execution Checklist

Follow this structured playbook on every setup:

• Step 1: Identify the higher timeframe trend (Daily/4H). Look for recent BOS to confirm bias.

• Step 2: Draw the active trading range from the lowest swing low to the highest swing high.

• Step 3: Map the Equilibrium (50% level). Filter out any setups that do not pull back into the Discount zone (for longs) or Premium zone (for shorts).

• Step 4: Identify institutional magnets within the discount/premium zone: look for Fair Value Gaps and unmitigated order blocks.

• Step 5: Wait for price to sweep retail liquidity pools and tap into your FVG magnet.

• Step 6: Zoom in to the lower timeframe (15m/5m) and wait for a clear Change of Character (CHoCH) to confirm institutional reversal. Execute on the re-test of the new lower timeframe FVG.

KNOWLEDGE RECONNAISSANCE

Q01.

In the Market Structure Blueprint playbook, what is the role of a lower timeframe Change of Character (CHoCH)?

Signal Desk is where you practice this on real stocks: real option chains (about 15 minutes delayed), the Trade Check and a paper-trading account that risks no real money. Join to add it, your progress tracking and PDF downloads.
